ರಾಮನಗರ - ನಗರದಲ್ಲಿ ದಿ. 22.07.2008 ರಂದು ಚಾಮುಂಡೇಶ್ವರಿ ಅಮ್ಮ ನವರ ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ದ ಕರಗ ಮಹೋತ್ಸವವು ನಡೆಯಲಿದ್ದು ನಗರಸಭೆಯು ನಗರದ ಜನತೆಗೆ ಶುಭ ಕೋರುತ್ತದೆ.ತತ್ಸಂಬಂದ ಕರಗದ ಪ್ರಯುಕ್ತ ನಗರದ ಜೂನಿಯರ್ ಕಾಲೇಜ್ ಕ್ರೀಡಾಂಗಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಗೀತ ಸಂಜೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ಹೆಸರಾಂತ ಕಲಾವಿದರು ನಡೆಸಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಮನಗರವೇ ಪ್ರಥಮ

          ರಾಮನಗರ ನಗರಸಭೆಯು ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲೇ ಪ್ರಪ್ರಥಮಬಾರಿಗೆ ಆಸ್ತಿ ತೆರಿಗೆ ಸಂಗ್ರಹಣೆಯನ್ನು ಗಣಕೀಕರಣ ಮಾಡಿದ ಕೀರ್ತಿಗೆ ಪಾತ್ರವಾಗಿದ್ದು ಮಾನ್ಯ ನಾಗರೀಕ ಬಂಧುಗಳು ಇನ್ನು ಮುಂದೆ ಗಣಕೀಕೃತ ಆಸ್ತಿ ತೆರಿಗೆ ನಮೂನೆಯನ್ನು (ನಮೂನೆ-3) ಪಡೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಬಹುದಾಗಿದೆ.  ಇದರ ಜೊತೆಗೆ 1997 ರಿಂದ ಈ ದಿನದವರೆಗೆ  ಜನನ ಮತ್ತು ಮರಣ ದಾಖಲೆಗಳನ್ನು ಗಣಕೀಕೃತಗೊಳಿಸಿದ್ದು ನಾಗರೀಕರು ಇನ್ನು ಮುಂದೆ ನಾಗರೀಕ ಸೇವಾ ಕೇಂದ್ರದಲ್ಲೆ ಆಸ್ತಿತೆರಿಗೆ ನಕಲು ನಮೂನೆ-3 ಮತ್ತು ಜನನ-ಮರಣ ನೊಂದಾಣಿ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಮಾಣ ಪತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಸೇವಾ ಶುಲ್ಕ ಪಾವತಿಸಿ ಪಡೆಯಬಹುದೆಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಲು ಹರ್ಷಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ.

RAMANAGARA IS FIRST

    We are very happy to intimate the citizens of Ramanagara city that our ULB is the first ULB in the state to computerizes the collection of Property Tax and issuing of Property Tax extract (Form-3), Birth and Death certificates from 1997 to till date under state Government nirmala nagar computerization scheme, from now on wards citizens are requested to visit the citizen service centre at the office for Property Tax extract (Form-3), registration and getting of Birth and Death certificates by paying service fee. Citizens are requested to make use of this facility.

ಘನತ್ಯಾಜ್ಯ ವಸ್ತು ಸಂಗ್ರಹಣೆ

         ನಗರಸಭೆಯ 19- ವಾರ್ಡ್ ಗಳ ಘನ ತ್ಯಾಜ್ಯ ವಸ್ತು ನಿರ್ವಹಣೆಯನ್ನು ಗುತ್ತಿಗೆ ನೀಡಲಾಗಿದೆ.  ಇದರಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಾಥಮಿಕ ಸಂಗ್ರಹಣೆ, ಬೀದಿಗುಡಿಸುವುದು, ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಗಾಣಿಕೆ ಸೇರಿಕೊಂಡಿರುತ್ತದೆ.  ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರು ಪ್ರಾಥಮಿಕ ಸಂಗ್ರಹಣೆಯ ಶುಲ್ಕವನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪದೆ ಪಾವತಿಸುವುದು.  ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಪಟ್ಟಂತೆ ಯಾವುದಾದರೂ ದೂರುಗಳಿದ್ದಲ್ಲಿ ನಗರಸಭೆಯ ಸಹಾಯವಾಣಿ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ-7276070 ಸಂಪರ್ಕಿಸುವುದು.  ನಗರವನ್ನು ಸ್ವಚ್ಚವಾಗಿಡಲು ಸಹಕರಿಸಿ.  -ಆಯುಕ್ತರು, ನಗರಸಭೆ.

                     Solid Waste Management in 19 wards has been outsourced. It is of two package system comprising primary collection, street sweeping and transportation to landfill site.                    ರಾಮನಗರ ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ

        ರಾಮನಗರ ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ 1996 ರಲ್ಲಿ ನಗರಸಭೆಯಾಯಿತು. ರಾಮನಗರವು ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು-ಮೈಸೂರು ರಾಜ್ಯ ಹೆದ್ದಾರಿ -17ರಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನಿಂದ 50 ಕಿ.ಮೀ. ದೂರದಲ್ಲಿದೆ.  ನಗರದ  ಜನಸಂಖ್ಯಾ 2001ರ ಸಮೀಕ್ಷೆಯಂತೆ 79,382, ನಗರದಲ್ಲಿ 31-ವಾರ್ಡೆ ಗಳಿದ್ದು ಅಶ್ಟೇ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯ ಚುನಾಯಿತ ಪ್ರತಿನಿಧಿಗಳಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ.  ನಗರವು 14,531 ಚ.ಕಿ.ಮೀ. ವ್ಯಾಪಿಸಿದೆ. 

          ನಗರವು ರೇಶ್ಮೆ ಬೆಳೆಗೆ ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧವಾಗಿದ್ದು, ನಗರದಲ್ಲಿ ಸುಮಾರು 2000 ರೇಶ್ಮೆ ನೂಲು ತೆಗೆಯುವ ಘಟಗಳಿವೆ.  ನಗರದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ರೇಶ್ಮೆ ಮಾರುಕಟ್ಟೆಯು ಏಶ್ಯಾದ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಮಾರುಕಟ್ಟೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಎಂದು ಹೆಸರುವಾಸಿಯಾಗಿರುತ್ತದೆ.  ಅಶ್ಟೇ ಅಲ್ಲದೆ ನಗರವು ಬೆಟ್ಟ ಗುಡ್ಡಗಳಿಂದ ಸುತ್ತುವರಿದಿದ್ದು ನಗರದ  ಸೌಂದರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಿದೆ.

         The City Municipal Council (CMC) Ramanagaram was constituted in 1996. It is situated along Bangalore - Mysore State Highway No.17 at a distance of 50 Kms from Bangalore. It has a population of 79,382 according to the censes of 2001. The CMC has 31 Wards and equal number of Councilors. Ramanagaram CMC stretches to an area of 14.531 SqKms.
