WATER SUPPLY
For Ramanagara and Channapatna the water is being supplied from combined water supply scheme commissioned during 2003 under the assistance of AD with Shimsha River as source.This source is 50kms away from the Ramanagara city.At present about 18mldof water is being supplied through this scheme .The ultimate capacity of the scheme is 26MLD.In addition to this 75 no. of borewells with power pumps are availabe at different part of the city and 1.50MLD water is also being pumped from Arkavathi River as source which is seasonal.
